 One of my favorite summertime novels, The Unexpected Everything, follows daughter-of-a-senator Andie on her summer adventures after her father’s political scandal causes her shoo-in at medical internship to fall through… Lost and without a plan for the first time ever, Andie takes a job as a dog walker and when she starts to make new friends and discover new interests, she realizes the best plans are the ones you don’t make.  Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a pen pal in a different country? I loved how culturally diverse this book was and how raw and honest they were about the stark differences between their two lives. Roses are red, violets are blue, if you love romances then this book is for you! After the first page, I couldn't put this book down. Lara Jean and her group of friends are captivating and fun, just the right amount of quirky, and made me "awww" at all the right parts! Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul is one of my favorites in the series. Fast paced and funny, this book had me laughing right until the end.
